Scout Camp

During the second week of July our older boys attended scout camp.

Our second oldest attended a boy scout camp by Vernal where he attended merit badge classes for a whole week.

By the end of the week he had earned 9 merit badges.  A few that he really enjoyed were:  Geo caching, geology, leather work, wilderness survival, wood carving, and environmental science.

Our oldest also attended camp the same week, but he went with the Varsity scouts down to the Flaming Gorge area.

They spent 3 days rafting and camping along the Green river,

jumping off cliffs into the river (I'm glad I wasn't there, I would have completely freaked out!)...

and going water skiing/boating on the reservoir.  They both had a fantastic time!
