5 Degrees-- Brrrrr.

It is sooo cold outside!! I had to run to the gas station this morning and I was stunned by how cold 5 degrees is, especially with the wind blowing. I couldn't get the gas cap off, couldn't get the debit card to work, then couldn't open the door. I was a mess. Meanwhile, my legs were frozen, my ears were numb, and I could hardly breathe because the cold air made me cough! I am safe in our warm home now, but my feet are still cold...it is now snowing and, as I look outside, even the icicles look cold!! Can it really be that just a few short months ago we were sitting in the shade at our local pool avoiding the suffocating heat???
