July is a hot month in Utah! Thankfully our town has a really fun splash pad to cool down in at North Park.
One hot day we went down as a family to cool off.
The water was cold and felt great!
Pretty soon the kids got creative: a water beard and a belly wash...
the power bum wash...first sitting down,
then standing up...
the boys' favorite: "Look Mom, I'm peeing!!"
And last but not least: kicking, hitting, punching, a REAL water fight!
We all had a great time.
Dad asked our daughter to get his hat wet for him. She tried it on for size...perfectly wet!
"This is soooo fun, Mom!"
I had to go and dip in my toe too!
