Yesterday we went on our annual Christmas tree cutting adventure.
We found a few Charlie Brown trees that were so cute!
But we finally settled on this big one.
Our manly boys told us ladies to step out of the way so they could use their muscles....
and their man tools to cut down our tree!
It was nice to just stand back and watch the men/boys do the work! (Although it is tough work to look this cute!!)
Once the tree was cut down they pulled it back down to the truck....
and refueled with some hot chocolate...
and doughnuts!
After all the work was done, it was time to play with Grandpa's 4-wheelers.
Some went fast! Others were content to go slow!
Dad went all the way up the canyon.
Our youngest was content to go in circles around the trucks!
It was a lot of fun, we were sad when it was time to load up and go home.
At least we got to stop by Grandma's on the way home for some home-made soup and bread sticks!
