The kids loved the sand!
Running in the water was a favorite.
I kept hearing the music from Chariots of Fire!
The boys started out in some smaller waves...
and eventually got out into some deeper ones.
Our daughter was content to jump over the little waves,
sit in the sand,
and collect some treasures.
Some thought the water was pretty warm,
our youngest wasn't so sure.
He had fun making "cupcakes."
I got a workout chasing/keeping track of five kids, but loved the whole experience!
Flying kites was so fun!
We had to chase one,
but he quickly learned to hold on tightly!!
This kite was the coolest!
By the end of the day we were exhausted, but we managed to stay awake long enough to watch this picturesque sunset off the balcony.
