Our four-year-old read his first book today. He was so proud and excited! It went something like this: Mat Mat sat. Sam Sam sat. Mat sat on Sam. Sad Sam. You get the idea. It is so fun to see how excited he is to learn. His eyes and face lit up as he realized that the sounds blended and made words that he could read. He felt ten feet tall! It was a fun moment for me to sit back and enjoy!! Thanks Lunch Lady for the books!!
